We knew that we were going to need to purchase a new battery for our alarm system in the near future, and we able to find our same battery on Amazon.com for a great price. The price at the alarm company was considerably higher so prior to purchasing the battery, I decided to check out Amazon.com just in case it was an item that was available. It was!! Saved quite a bit of money and in addition to the savings, the battery was delivered right to the door almost before I was off the computer placing the order! Absolutely would order from that same vendor again (through Amazon, of course!), knowing that I'll get a good product at a great price.

I needed a replacement battery for my alarm system and the specifications on this battery fit the bill. And the price was right at just under $10 where Radio Shack wanted $35. I received the battery within 5 days. (ordered on Sunday and got it that Friday). This battery is the same size as the one I had. So far so good. Then we try to connect the wires to it.....OOPS!! The posts on this new battery are too big! I think the battery I had has a 3/16 inch post. The new battery is slightly bigger and are 1/4 inch. Perhaps the 1/4 inch is standard and the one I had was unusually small? Anyway, not a big deal. Both me and my husband are very handy. Ran to Radio Shack and spent $2 on connectors and replaced the ones that were there and viola! No more battery issue. The light went out for a low battery on my panel pretty quickly, if not immediately after connecting it. I wasn't really watching, but when I had looked not to long after installing the battery, it was out already. So connector size aside, which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, it's a great buy and seems to work just fine.
