inaccurate description--replacement battery/not actual Mar 18, 2009

As the previous reviewer stated the battery is advertised as a 12v 4Ah battery and what I received was a 12v 5Ah battery; However, after reading his review I checked around on the internet and found that the 12v 5Ah is a common replacement battery for most alarm systems. So far the battery has worked for ours. This battery was the most economical one including shipping and handling. The battery arrived promptly along with an instruction page for charging tips. We placed the battery in the alarm system and in about 4hr of charging the battery indicator was turned off showing that there wasn't any battery problems. I would have given 5 stars if the seller would have simply explained about the replacement issue.

Amp-Hours refers to the battery capacity. All things being equal (i.e. price), it's better to have more battery capacity than less. It certainly doesn't hurt.

I purchased this battery for my home alarm system and was very pleasedUB1250 SEALED LEAD ACID BATTERY FOR 12 VOLTS / 5 AH with the price point and speed of delivery from the vendor. The battery was extremely easy to install and saved me from paying the cost for a service technician. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the product.

I bought this battery to replace the one in our Security system for our home.
The item arrived quickly and well packaged.
It was a great fit with the system.
The price was better than the local battery specialty store.

This battery is being used as a back up power supply for my garage door opener. The build quality appears to be good. Shipping was fast and included in the price. I measured the battery with my meter when it arrived, it was 12.6 volts. Slid it in the garage door opener and was fully charged in about 4 hours. My garage opener manual says to only use their part number battery. They wanted $65.00!!! Under the garage opener part number was the regular battery part number. Typed in that number on amazon and saw this battery. Good reviews and low price lead me to purchase this battery. Looks identical and has the same specs as the original battery. Buying it at amazon was even cheaper than the home improvement store.
