I use this in my 1997 Lexus LX450 - works well. It's very helpful when attempting to charge multiple devices simultaneously. The tilt mechanism is a bit flimsy, but works and expected considered the inexpensive price tag.

It's amazing how many sockets I need in my car. One for the GPS, another for the XM radio, yet another for the radar detector. And that's not all. I also need additional sockets to charge my phone and for the portable DVD player. Given all this heavy usage this device was really needed as the GPS, radar and XM radio needed to be plugged to the dashboard lighter socket to avoid the messy wires. This product plugs in all 3 devices and best of all the socket plug rotates so that the whole device swings downwards. My previous adaptor stuck straight out from the socket and after plugging in all the devices I barely had space to move the gear stick. It is of just ok quality though, and I expect I will have to change it in a year or so.
Update 12/07/08- Well, it's lasted 1.5 years and is still working. The one complaint I have is that when three devices are plugged in, it becomes quite heavy and if the car hits a bump then the adaptor gets bumped out of the car lighter scoket and all the devices turn off. This is annoying, as you have to reach out and plug it in again firmly. Other than that it works well.
