Replacement battery for CyberPower 685AVR Apr 03, 2010
By Joseph B. Almond There are many batteries out there with the same rating of voltage and amperage, but not the required physical dimensions. The dimensions and terminal configuration were as advertised. This was critical as a replacement for a failed battery, in my CYBER POWER 685AVR. The 2 year warranty is also a nice selling point. The price and shipping cost were reasonable.

WORKED IN MY TRIPP-LITE OMNI 1000 Oct 17, 2011
By FIX IT GUY Bought this battery to replace the one in my Tripp-Lite Omni 1000, the one that Costco sold and that Tripp-Lite says cannot be replaced. It's the right size and orientation of the power connections, and I was able to carefully open the case (2 screws, one under the serial number label) using a long #2 phillips screwdriver. Don't touch any thing but the battery as there is residual current remaining in the other components. Probably the hardest thing was to keep the circuit board in it's grooves in the top and bottom halves of the plastic case when reassembling. They are very narrow and the wiring wants to pull the board out of position, which will make the usb socket misalign. Tripp-Lite did not design this particular model to be serviced by consumers and left out an isolated compartment for the battery to save money and allow Costco to sell it for less. In my opinion, these model modifications should be accompanied by a disclaimer so that customers realize they are buying a unit that is not like the other serviceable type of power interruption battery back-ups and thus be able to make a more informed purchasing decision. Bottom line is my power supply is up and running for 1/3 the cost of a new one.

Great for Tripp-Lite SMART1000LCD Jan 22, 2011
By Eric Farr Worked great in my Tripp-Lite SMART1000LCD.
BTW, if you are trying to figure out how to get one of those open, use an extra-long Phillips head screwdriver on the two deep holes on the back of the unit. Piece of cake once you figure that part out.

Exact replacement for UPS Battery Mar 05, 2011
By Philipp2

After looking locally (DFW Area) for these, I found them thru Amazon at a good price. I was looking at around $150 to replace the UPS if I did not find the correct battery. Since they had to fit inside of the UPS case, they had to be the exact size of the old batteries. These batteries fit the bill perfectly, at a good price and saved me around $100. After installing them, the UPS is happy now and does not give me a "Bad battery" warning.
