Very convenient to use - but introduces static Dec 07, 2010
By Rajnish Kaushik My wife had been asking for sometime using which she could be on the phone as well keep on working on cooking or some other home activity. I looked at Plantronics but those were very expensive. The KX-TCA400 was very inexpensive product and when used with cordless phone, it gave all the mobility that is needed in a home. The sound quality is great. After a prolonged phone call, I do feel little inconvenient but that I believe would be with every other similar product. The padding on the ear piece is very comfortable.
One issue though is that when I use this headset with the cordless phone, the person on the other end of the line have reported static. So at times, I have to take the headset off. As you could imagine that is not acceptable, I would soon be replacing this headset.

Well worth the money! Feb 19, 2011
By AndyMac This is for use in a home office, and I spend between 2-5 hours a day on the phone (executive search). I've had this for about a week. I've used headsets in the past, but not within the last 7 years. Wasn't really sure I wanted to go back to a headset, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I recently bought ($190) a new Panasonic DECT 6.0 Bluetooth phone (KX-TG6582), and read reviews stating Panasonic headsets work great with Panasonic phones. I've found this to be accurate. Mine works perfectly when in the same room as the phone base, not as well when in another room. Bottom line, for $15 you can't beat this deal.
Eventually, I'll go to a wireless bluetooth option, but I expect to spend over $200 for that setup with Plantronics. This was a good "baby step" for me. I hope this review is helpful to anyone looking for a good home office setup, who expects to be on the phone a lot. I relied on these reviews myself and just wanted one review to have a complete phone setup included.

Best head set ! Jan 10, 2011
By Liliane Bushman This is by far the best headset I have ever used. I can hear the person as clearly as I would without the headset. Yes!

It works Oct 26, 2010
By Chuckbloch This headset works well. We have one for each phone extention. They are inexpensive and of good quality. Local stores do not have much to offer in inexpensive portable phone headsets.
