This bulb came installed in a Panasonic bathroom fan/light and failed in 4.5 years and about 1000 hours of use. No more hours than that as it was only used when extra light was needed(cleaning/repairs)and never for primary lighting. The pin slots in the fixture only fit this bulb so I must buy it again as a replacement bulb even though it is not worth the price due to its very short life, even less than an incandescent bulb! What is worse, I have another identical bathroom fan/light 3 years old that uses the same bulbs. With only 500+/- hours use, one of its 2 bulbs is already out. Don't believe the 10,000 hour life claims as they are way off! Junk.

Same as another review. These bulbs last nowhere near as long as Panasonic claims. The 1st set I had lasted a little past a year; the second lasted just past 2 years. I wish I had known about the poor performance and proprietary bulbs before installing the expensive Panasonic unit. 0 stars to Panasonic. The seller, I must note was excellent; fast shipping, no reflection on him.

I have a bathroom fan/light/heat fixture that I purchased 3.5 years ago. Within two months, one light went out, but I decided to deal with just one light. After 3.5 years,the second light went dead. The bummer is that the fixture only takes Panasonic lights. I tried a Phillips, which didn't work. Bummer. I guess I have no choice but to purchase two more of these. If the one light didn't last 3.5 years, I'd give this one or two stars.

This bulb was purchased to replace one in a bathroom fan/light fixture. The local stor sold only another brand, but it was very dim. This bulb produced the same bright light the original bulb had produced. The packing of the bulbs was only the box it was in and a padded pak, but it made it in great condition some how!

I bought these light bulbs (FDS18E35/4) to replace the ones in my bathroom exhaust fan. They are the same bulbs that the builder installed when I purchased my house. I previously got the Sylvania ones (#20683) and was displeased with the light output. I didn't really understand at the time the concept of color temperature. The string of numbers in a light bulb's model number is rather confusing, but apparently the Sylvania ones had a 2700K color temp vs. these, which are 3500K. As a result, these Panasonic bulbs put out a whiter (i.e., bluer) and brighter color, while the other one is a dimmer, yellow one. These bulbs are great if you like white light, as opposed to what is considered warm yellow. The shipping was fast and condition of the bulbs were fine, however I probably would have preferred it to be in a box instead of a padded envelope. But I guess if the company doesn't get complaints about broken bulbs, then it must be sufficient packaging.
