Finally, a convenient source for these batteries! Nov 28, 2001

I've owned my Panasonic 2.4v screwdriver for about ten years, albeit unused for the past 5 or so due to lack of fresh NiCd batteries. Anyway, the EY503B was the best lightweight cordless screwdriver you could buy back around 1991, two speed with torque clutch. I used it professionally daily back then and it's versatility and performance always made my job easier. I recently bought fresh batteries and look forward to putting it back into my tool bag.

Not a 2.0 Ah battery Aug 31, 2010
By opiedog The EY9021 2.4V NiCad battery Amazon shipped me is clearly marked 1.2Ah, about half the capacity Amazon advertises. That's how Panasonic labels it right on the box. Don't know why web sites seem to have so much trouble with critical specifications. The battery is OK as a spare, but don't expect the longer operating time a 2Ah battery would provide.

What's to say? It's a battery. It works.
I love the tool that it powers, though. I'm a professional electrician and I've been using either the Milwaukee, AEG or Panasonic cordless electric screwdriver that this battery powers for over 25 years (replacing each as they've worn out in 2-5 yrs of hard daily use and the occasional dropping).
Good Product Apr 05, 2010
By E. Allen Reasonable price for hard to find battery type. Works good, charges properly, holds charge well.

The Panasonic Ey9021 2.4 Volt Battery delivers the power needed to drive the screw. Charges full in less than 20 minutes. A good choice for me.
