I purchased this to go with my new camera to use while scuba diving. It is a very nice case. The diffuser could work better but that is always a problem when shooting with flash underwater. The camera fits snugly and the case seals very well. It even includes silica packs to keep moisture out. I have used this case to 100' depths scuba diving with no problems.It aslo includes weight ballasts the make your case negative or neutrally buoyant! Follow the directions for cleaning and care and it will last a very long time!

This housing, together with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 16x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Silver), produce great images. Behind the flash shroud, there is a fitting to attach an optical cable for triggering an external strobe. The camera is completely functional inside the housing, allowing full zoom and all controls.
I wish it came with a lens cover and case. But the camera and housing together cost less than $500. That is an outstanding value for an outfit that works so well. See the images.

housing is very reliable allows full functioning of the camera and zoom and I have used it while freediving, waterfall jumping, boogie boarding and surfing without any problems. Sand can get in the nooks and crannies but doesnt affect functionality assuming you clean it quickly thereafter and not leave it dirty for a prolonged period.

Works great, camera fits very well, used in the Cayman Islands for snorkeling. The furthest I dove was 10-12 feet.
Remember to use the underwater setting on your camera - I forgot on a few pics, and they are very blah, I will have fix them in photoshop.
Very happy I bought this rather than a disposable underwater camera or two. It is much easier to get shots when I am familiar with the camera I am using - and this case lets me have full camera functionality, and feels natural to use.
