It has been a hassel getting the lamp returned for a replacement - I am still waiting for the replacement. Next time I will pay extra and get the lamp from Panasonic...and at this point I just want a refund. I am unhappily waiting for a response from the vendor.

Ordered it with 2nd day shippping and it surprisingly came in the very next day and a day before Thanksgiving football. Everything was perfect and as promised. It pops right in 1-2-3 and unless your really counting dollars, a better slection just the bulb. It was also the cheapest on the internet the day checked (excluding non-OEM's) which is a bonus. Guess this is more a recommendation of the StoreFrontOutlet than Phillips. We'll see if it does better than the last bulb.

i recently ordered a lamp from amazon for a panasonic projection tv and was lead to believe that the housing was included,to my dismay when i received my package all that was in it was the lamp itself..not very happy about this.If the housing was not included WHY then picture it that way??

Instilation was easy, and it has worked well so far - but of course, because I am saying nice things about it, I can expect it to blow up in the next 24 hours, in which case I shall blame Amazon for encouraging me to write this review.

Well the original bulb had to have been a panasonic brand bulb. it lasted about 3 years and gave out when i started paying Red Dead Redemption. Needed alot of contrast. installed new bulb not in an ideal way. Used black electric tape. Didn't use the high temp electric tape, but it still works. If you do install one, make sure you use a bolt and a screw. Go on Youtube to see how to take the bulb out. Can't tell you how good this new Phillips bulb is because of the longevity. We'll see.
