I didn't realize how dim the display on my TV was, then the replace lamp warning came up. Instead of spending over $300 for the local repair guy to come out, I thought I would try replacing it myself. It's very simple "plug/play" (just make sure to let the set cool off several hours). Ii now looks like a brand new TV

I purchased this lamp from Amazon trusting the amazon and seller and didn't expect to see my lamp dies at 8 months only. The original lamp coming with TV lasted almost 6 years and just faded a bit and I decided to get a new one. After the purchase of this item from Amazon I immediately replaced the old one and the picture was indeed brighter. However, today we were shocked to see our new lamp had a sudden death, without any warning from lamp light feature of TV and all the sudden it died. I put the original old one back to TV and now we can watch TV again and it still works. I am extremely frustrated with this purchase both from Amazon and from seller. Really expected at least couple years, not just 8 months. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money buying from this seller. Awful quality.

Really guys--4 months? These things should last for a couple of years, not four months. How about a little quality control.

Read the reviews and thought I would risk it if I could save the money. Only lasted 2 weeks and now my TV doesn't work at all. All indicators point to a problem with the light. (beeping red in the light indicator spot). Hmmm.

You made it easy to buy but hard to ask Questions.You left out info about reseting a timer.Very mad that I can't ask A simple Question about A product I purchased from YOU.
