 Laptop battery would not hold a charge Mar 04, 2010

I ordered a battery for a B130 Dell laptop at the end of January. I received the battery the first week in February. At first I was getting almost 3 hours of time on the battery, but in the last week I'm barely getting 1. The battery is not charging correctly. A few days ago I contacted the seller (via Amazon) about exchanging it for a new one. I am waiting for their reply.

This notebook battery should last as long as the 1st one I purchased, but it did not, the power started going down quickly and now, if I turn on my notebook 3 mins. tops it will shut down. it will not hold a charge no longer than 3 mins. Not a good buy on my part.

The battery was junk. It would not hold a charge. It was the right one alright, but it must have been an old factory reject or something because it would not take a charge nor hold a charge. I thought it might have been the computor's fault not charging properly so I had my neighbor exchange it with his who also has a 1300. It didn'n make any difference. This will be the last time I will buy any thing from Amanzon.
