Works fine in my Canon SD780IS. I have owned it for quite some time and have not noticed any difference between it and the original Canon battery.

I boutht two of these batteries from BlueMall (via Amazon) at $0.52 each on January 19, 2011. I charged both in the OEM Canon charger and put one in the camera. It lasted about two days and would no longer hold a charge (infant mortality I think). The other battery works fine and seems to last longer between charges than the original. Even though the current price is $6.56 (BlueMall), it is still only about 10% of a Canon replacement having a lower amp hour rating. If the one in the camera fails, I'll be back for another or maybe two.
