This battery was a replacement for my HP battery that went dead. My laptop freezes up when using a wireless PC card adapter and no external power source is hooked up. I don't recall having this problem before so I don't know if the battery is to blame or my PC and for this I gave it 3 stars. I do know that when I plug the power chord on to the laptop it does not freeze up. Other then this it works fine the life of the battery is not great.It has to do with the laptop it never got good life to begin with, around 2hrs or less no heavy work.
