I bought this for my IBM R40. It worked for a few weeks, then less and less charge and finally NO charge at all. Junk. Complete waste of money. Stay away from this vendor.

Battery lasted maybe a week, wasn't new: package looked new, but scamed!!

Try to stay away from 3 party vendors....

It took a period of 10 days from ordering this to it being delivered to me in Iraq. This alone will have me ordering from them in the future for any more hardware needs. The battery is a perfect fit. I have not tested the life of the battery from full charge to depletion, but I have gotten 3 hours at least with normal usage on battery alone.
