 Buyer Beware these ARE NOT 3.5Ah Batteries! Sep 12, 2011

I purchased this item for the longer run time a 3500mAh battery would provide. The package arrived with the 3500mAh sticker on the box. Inspection ON the battery revealed it's a 3000mAh battery! I'm guessing the seller is unaware his product is mis-packaged. Called Amazon and they refunded in dollars the difference between the selling price of a 3500mAh battery and a 3000mAh battery. I need batteries and I feel it would never be resolved so I'm taking the cash differential. :( I bought 2 batteries and they arrived in two separate shipments with the same error. These Iottie batteries are actually DuoGreen Roomba Replacement Batteries 14.4V 3000mAh Made In China

The battery just arrived. It's a "duogreen Roomba Replacement Battery", 14.4V 3000mAh (aka, 3 amp hours). The listing was for a 3.5Ah battery, not a 3Ah battery. The battery is OK, but it's not cool to sell something that differs from the product description - so I'm giving it 1 star.

This battery claims 3.5Ah. It is not even close. I replaced the original I-Robot NiCad battery with the I-Robot APS battery 3.0A NiMH) when I originally bought my 500 series Roomba because it died before completing all three rooms I wanted cleaned. I only used the NiCad 4-5 times before replacing it. The APS battery extended my cleaning time long enough to do 3 rooms and return to the charging base. The APS battery was dying after being used 3+ times a week for over a year, so I ordered this battery as a replacement, since it claimed 3.5Ah (more than my APS battery). I can say that it is not even getting close to the run time of my 3.0Ah APS battery. In fact, I re-installed my original NiCad since it has identical run time to this battery. The only difference is this battery shows green longer and then dies quickly (in a few minutes), whereas the NiCad shows the progressive Green-Yellow-Red status as it works through the rooms before it dies. Both batteries successfully complete 2 rooms and enter the third room where they both die after a short time, telling me that the run times are identical. Save your money on this and buy the I-Robot APS battery unless you are just looking for something with equivalent run time to the original NiCad.

I have never posted a negative review before, but I feel strongly about this one. This battery never would charge in my I Robot, although the seller insisted to the end that it was the right battery and not defective. Leaving it in to charge for 12 hours, changing the way it was plugged in, leaving it for 12 more hours - all of those steps just resulted in a scary flashing red light on my vacuum and no power. When I returned the battery and replaced it with the official I Robot battery my vacuum charged in about 3 hours and now works better than ever. The product comes with very confusing directions, barely written in English, and the vendor provides no way to reach them by phone. Do not purchase this product.

I have purchased this item from battery superstore for $26 around June 2010. After about 10 charging cycles roomba 560 works for 1h:50min consistently on all carpet(short-medium height) surface. the original roomba battery was only giving me 20 min. the only thing left to check is how long will this performance last.
