I've been using this battery for 3 months and use it on the job everyday. It holds a charge for a proper amount of time, has enough power, it has a 1 year warranty, and it's less than half price compared to the DeWalt battery. What's not to like. I suppose the real test is how long this battery will last after the year warranty time but for now I'm satisfied and would buy it again.

Read on line that this battery could substitute for the original Black & Decker battery on my old drill. It fits and works great on my old B&D drill. Cheaper than a B&D battery and more powerful. I now have my heavy duty Dewalt XP cordless and the rest of the household has the B&D. Would recommend this fix to anyone.

Not much to be said other than that this is exactly what it says it is, and is a great value for the price. Brought an old drill back to life without having to pay the ridiculous prices that DeWalt charges for replacement batteries. Fast shipping too.

 Careful Ordering these Batteries. Not as Described Feb 10, 2012

When I first saw this battery pack, I thought that it would be a pretty good deal couldn't really figure out if it was a 3Ah battery or a 4Ah battery. Either way the original packs from DeWalt are 2.4Ah, so 3 or 4 both were better. It mentioned the battery being 3Ah in the heading, 4Ah in the tech specs, then 3Ah again in the product description. Now today when my order came, I went back in to make sure before calling Amazon (because you can't return them from the website, you need to talk to someone) and they had changed the heading to this "Dewalt DW1213, 12V 1.3AH Power Tool Battery" Here is what the heading said (when I placed the order), and what was in the product description on my order "12v Battery for Dewalt DC9071 DE9037 DE9071 DE9074 DE9075 3Ah NI-CD - 12 MONTH WARRANTY" But even though they have changed the heading to 1.3Ah, the technical detail and the production description still say 3Ah and 4Ah. What you actually get is a 1.5Ah battery, when the OEM from DeWalt is a 2.4Ah. If you are ok with that.....then order away. Mine are going back as soon as I receive the UPS slip in my email. One other thing to note is that when I did call Amazon and explain the problem, they processed the return without a problem.

I purchased two of these batteries to replace the originals that came with my drills. These batteries hold their charges just as well as the deWalts at about half the price....can't beat that!!
