I purchased 2 Black & Decker 14.4V batteries to replace the old ones that died after 8 years. Amazon offered the best price, low cost shipping and the package arrived even faster than promised.

I was given a Bush/hedge trimmer from a relative with a small catch. The current battery in the unit was damaged and he didn't know how it happened. The order easy to place online. I ordered two thinking hedge trimming usually takes me several hours. Batteries arrived as excepted. I was expected the batteries to take overnight to charge not knowing much about them. They each took about 15-20 minutes to fully charge. Actual time may have been less as I only checked on their charging status only once each. I was surprised to find one battery lasted through an entire trimming episode. I used the 2nd battery at anohter location and had the same experience. I would recommend this product to someone else>

The batteries were the correct ones for my tools and arrived in good condition and on a timely basis. The batteries have functioned as desired. I will purchase more batteries in the future for my other tools from the same source.
I would recommend using Amazon, versus the hardware store, prices are better and availability is not an issue.

Well first of all I have purchased & own many tools in my 51+ years and the only tools I have purchased that have failed or did not perform well are the newer Black & Decker cordless lines. Just cheap, poor quality tools. I bought this battery to use with a Black & Decker cordless hedge trimmer since the one battery that came with it did not perform well. The new one wasn't much better. I think I'll stick with DeWalt cordless tools as I have many and they all perform very well and stand the test of time. There was a day many years ago when Black & Decker made good tools but now they are named DeWalt. Not Recommended

I have a set that's 3 years old. This battery is an exact replacement and works great.
