Pay the extra and get the Makita. Sep 22, 2011

I thought I would save the bucks.
In the past I purchased only the one made by Makita.
The Makita ones I have purchased in the past lasted years, with definite times of dead time.

I bought this one in March, and now in September, it will not hold enough of a charge to do a single screw.
I'm now going back and buying the one I should have.

my Makita drill is a few years old w/a dead battery. i went to my local dealer but he didn't carry older batteries. if i had ordered it from him it would have cost me $20 more then what i got it from you folks. rec'd the new battery, fits, fully charged, my "new" drill ready go, I'm very pleased. the service was great and fast.

Battery works great--also about 1/3 the price we would be charged here. I'm happy!!! Used it to hang Eve troughs the other day and has lots of power and lasted well. Completed the entire job.
