As intended, I purchased this battery to replace the bad battery in my laptop. I hate to say it, but this battery didn't even last a good year. I just plug in my computer now instead of trying to replace the battery. They are just too expensive to have to replace every year. Doesn't make good use of my laptop, but I won't keep throwing good money after bad.
